Official competition rules
Publish rules for each challenge before it opens: game, objective, eligible entrants and locations, entry deadline/time zone, number of attempts, scoring method, required evidence, validation, tie-breakers, prize amount/currency, dispute process and winner notification.
Eligibility & regions
Proposed initial cash-prize policy: 18+ and only residents of jurisdictions expressly listed as eligible in each competition. Location must be checked before entry. Eligible regions are not yet finalised, including individual US states.
Fair play & anti-cheat
Define valid runs, objective scoring, evidence formats, cheating and exploit prohibitions, account authenticity checks, submission review, consistent disqualification rules and a transparent appeals process.
Prize payments & verification
Describe when results become final, age/residency/identity checks, eligible payout countries, payment timing, supported methods, any currency conversion and applicable tax documentation. Do not collect banking details at first sign-up.
Terms of service
Draft the rules for account creation, acceptable use, disputes, service availability, enforcement, account suspension and any applicable legal rights. Do not use this outline as a binding terms agreement.
Privacy policy
Before live sign-up, specify the data controller, contact details, what personal data is collected (including gamertag / Rockstar ID, platform, email, date of birth and country), legal bases, purposes, providers, international transfers, retention, rights and complaint options. Date of birth and eligibility verification require special care.
Cookies
Explain cookies and other tracking technologies used on the live website, including any session cookie set by login. Seek and record consent before non-essential cookies are set where required. This demo has no analytics or advertising trackers; note that fonts are currently loaded from Google Fonts.
Contact and legal information
Before launch, add a genuine support email, operating entity name, jurisdiction, registered address and registration number (where required). Review game-publisher intellectual property and commercial tournament rules before publishing publisher-related competitions.
